Low est un groupe américain d'Indie Rock originaire de Duluth, Minnesota. Le groupe a été formé en 1993. Actuellement il se compose d'Alan Sparhawk (guitare et chant), Mimi Parker (batterie et chant), deux des membres fondateurs, et Matt Livingston (basse).
Bien que le groupe n'aime pas cette appellation, leur style musical est souvent nommé Slowcore, ou encore Sadcore, un sous-genre qui se caractérise par des rythmes lents, des arrangements minimalistes et une atmosphère pour le moins froide et sombre. Mais ce qui fait le charme du groupe, c'est certainement la beauté des voix entrelacées du couple Parker/Sparhawk, donnant à leur musique une dimension plus éthérée, voire aérienne.
